Hi! My name is Gus!

Doesn’t Gus look like the happiest little boy here? Hehe. Mind you, it takes a lot to make him smile!!! He wasn’t the smiley little boy you see here the first two days he was at Crystle’s Dog Boarding. You see, Gus was abandoned once before :( He’s 13 years old, that’s the estimate age he was given by a Vet based on his health (teeth, eyes, etc). When Gus was found, his teeth had rot all the way that ’caused a hole under his left eye (see the darker spot under his left eye?). Saliva and tears tend to drip out of that hole so it has to be wiped as often as possible (especially after his meals) to prevent build up of bacteria.

That aside, Gus also has stress-related issues. For example, if he is left alone, he’ll start chewing himself :( To top that off, he has weak hind legs and can’t walk for too long :(

Thankfully for Gus, he’s found an owner who loves him dearly and spoils him endlessly! He’s got everything a little doggy could possible dream of! :) He gets home cooked meals on a daily basis and he’s got supplements to ensure his joints and skin remain in good condition :) Gus loves sleeping on my giant mattress. There’s nothing he loves more than an air-conditioned room and a big fluffy comforter! Oh did I mention he “juices” apples?! Yup, he doesn’t eat them. He just juices them then spits them out! Hahaha.
